What has happened so far on the project?

In April and May 2026, we asked what types of play experiences you would like to see to help guide the design.In September, we welcomed community members, nearby schools, and local groups to help co-design the new playground.

What is a co-design process?

Co‑design is a collaborative process where community members work alongside Council to help shape the playground’s design. We invited community members, nearby schools and local groups to help co‑design the new playground.

What happens next?

We’ll share the outcomes of the survey and co‑design process with local residents before works begin. In February 2027, we will provide feedback on the draft design. Construction is expected to occur in the 2027/28 financial year.
