In April and May 2026, we asked what types of play experiences you would like to see to help guide the design.In August, we welcomed community members, nearby schools, and local groups to help co-design the new playground.
What is a co-design process?
Co‑design is a collaborative process where community members work alongside Council to help shape the playground’s design. We invited community members, nearby schools and local groups to help co‑design the new playground.
What happens next?
Design for the new playground will occur during the 2026/27 financial year, with construction planned for 2027/28. We’ll share the outcomes of the survey and co‑design process with local residents before works begin. In February 2027, we will provide feedback on the draft design.
